SPECIFIC SPORT SPEED PROGRAMS
Specific sport speed programs require different requirements and this has to be taken into account when designing and implementing coaching programs. Younger athletes 7-11 can be trained in general terms related to speed however once they reach adolescence and start to specialise in one or two sports the speed training has to become more specific to the sport and in some cases may have to be personalised to the position and individual.
